Setting up Chartermi.net for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

How to set up Chartermi.net:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Server Settings

1. Select the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Not all services support both protocols! Refer to the table below for available protocols.
   • IMAP protocol keeps the mails on the server and it will show a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended for most users.
   • POP3 downloads the mails from the remote server and it will store them on your device.
2. Enter the password for the e-mail account and tap Next.
3. Please refer to the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Configuration Required for Receiving Mail using IMAP

Outgoing Mail Server Setup (via SMTP)

1. Once the parameters are typed in, you can tap Next.
2. Select Require sign-in
3. Refer to the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
