How to set up Codetel for your Android Tablet

How to set up Codetel:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Setup

1. Select the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not provide both protocols. You may want to check out the information below for the correct protocols.
   • IMAP protocol stores the emails on the server, but it will display a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended setting for almost all users.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
2. Enter the password for the e-mail address and tap Next.
3. Refer to the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

Incoming E-mail Server (POP) Settings

Outgoing E-mail Configuration (via SMTP)

1. After you type the parameters, click Next.
2. Select Require sign-in
3. Please see the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
