How to set up Fairfield-wa.com for an Android Device

Configuring Fairfield-wa.com

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Email Settings

  1. Select the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both! Please see the table below for the correct settings.
    • IMAP protocol will store the e-mails on the server but it will display a cached copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
    • POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will store them on your Android device.
  2. Type in the password for the e-mail account and tap Next.
  3. Please use the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
  4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.

Configuration Needed for Sending E-mail

  1. After you type in the configuration, tap Next.
  2. Turn on Require sign-in
  3. Refer to the table below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
  4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.
