Setting up St-tel.net for an Android Tablet

In this post I will teach you setting up St-tel.net using SMTP and POP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a straightforward way.

Setting up St-tel.net

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Settings

  1. Select the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not support both. Refer to the information below for possible parameters.
    • IMAP will store the mails on the server and it will show a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended setting in most cases.
    • POP3 will download the mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
  2. Enter the passphrase for your email account and tap Next.
  3. Please use the table below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Now click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

Outgoing E-mail Setup

  1. After you type the settings, tap Next.
  2. Select Require sign-in
  3. Please refer to the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
  4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
