How to set up Gmx.ch

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Server Setup

1. Select the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Not all services provide both options. Refer to the information below for possible settings.
   • IMAP keeps the emails on the server but it will display a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended protocol in most cases.
   • POP3 will download the e-mails from the server and it will keep them on your Android device.
2. Type the passphrase for your email address and click Next.
3. Use the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

Outgoing Mail Server Configuration (via SMTP)

1. Once the settings are typed in, you can click Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Please see the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
