How to set up Gmx.info for an Android Phone
In this post we will teach you setting up Gmx.info using POP and SMTP for your Samsung Galaxy (Android) in an easy to follow fashion.

Setting up Gmx.info:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Settings Required for Receiving Email
- Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both protocols! You may want to see the table below for possible settings.
- IMAP protocol will store the mails on the server, and it will keep a cached copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended protocol for most users.
- POP3 downloads the mails from the server and it will keep them on your Android device.
- Type the password for the mail account and click Next.
- Use the following information to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
- Now click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |

Configuration Required for Sending E-mail (using SMTP)
- Once the parameters are entered, click Next.
- Select Require sign-in
- Please refer to the table below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
- Click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.
