
Setting up Jcom.home.ne.jp for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)
In this post I will simply explain how to configure Jcom.home.ne.jp with IMAP and SMTP for your Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a straightforward language.

Setting up Jcom.home.ne.jp
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Configuration Needed for Receiving Email
- Select the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not provide both! Refer to the table below for available settings.
- IMAP protocol keeps the emails on the server, and it will keep a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended setting for most usersӪԒӾӮӰՀӼՋӫՉԮԲԩӸӖӘԁӻՌԂԤԳԞԷӓՎӴԻӯԟin most casesӪԒӾӮӰՀӼՋӫՉԮԲԩӸӖӘԁӻՌԂԤԳԞԷӓՎӴԻӯԟin almost all casesӪԒӾӮӰՀӼՋӫՉԮԲԩӸӖӘԁӻՌԂԤԳԞԷӓՎӴԻӯԟfor almost all users.
- POP3 will download the mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
- Enter the passphrase for the e-mail account and click Next.
- Use the following information to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
- Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Outgoing E-mail Server Setup (using SMTP)
- Once the settings are filled in, click Next.
- Turn on Require sign-in
- Please use the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
- Click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.
