How to set up Live.fr for an Android Phone

Configuring Live.fr:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Required for Receiving Mail

1. Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not support both! You may want to see the information below for available protocols.
   • IMAP keeps the e-mails on the server, and it will show a cached copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
   • POP3 downloads the e-mails from the server and it will keep them on your Android device.
2. Enter the passphrase for your mail account and tap Next.
3. Use the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.

Configuration Required for Sending Email

1. After you type the parameters, tap Next.
2. Enable Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.
