Setting up Mail.com for your Android Device
In this post we will try to explain setting up Mail.com with IMAP and SMTP for an Android Device in an easy to follow way.

Setting up Mail.com
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming E-mail Server Settings
- Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not support both. Please refer to the information below for the correct settings.
- IMAP protocol keeps the e-mails on the server, but it will keep a copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended setting in most cases.
- POP3 will download the e-mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your device.
- Type the passphrase for the mail address and click Next.
- Refer to the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
- Now tap Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |

Outgoing E-mail Setup (via SMTP)
- Once the parameters are typed in, tap Next.
- Select Require sign-in
- Please see the following table to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
- Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Server Port | 465 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
