Setting up MTS for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Configuring MTS

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Configuration Needed for Receiving Mail

1. Select the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services provide both options. Refer to the table below for available parameters.
   • IMAP keeps the mails on the server but it will keep a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended protocol for almost all users.
   • POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
2. Type in the password for your e-mail account and click Next.
3. Refer to the table below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) Configuration

Outgoing Mail Server Configuration

1. Once the settings are typed in, you can click Next.
2. Enable Require sign-in
3. Please use the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.
