Setting up Online.no:
It is possible that Mail will find the email parameters automatically, then set up your account. Apply these steps in order to find out if that will be possible:
- Go to Settings > Mail then tap Accounts.
- Tap Add Account, then Other, and tap Add Mail Account
- Enter your name, your email address, password with a description for account
- Click Next. The Mail app should now try and find the e-mail settings and set up your account. If the Mail app finds the email settings, click Done to complete your setup.
In case the Mail app hasn't been able to find your email settings, then you will need to enter them manually. We think you will find the information below useful:
Setup Needed for Receiving Mail via POP
Server Hostname | pop.online.no |
Server Port | 995 |

Server Port | 465 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |

Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Select IMAP or POP for your new account. If you don't know which one to opt for, contact Online.no.
- Enter the details (You might want to refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next
- If your email configuration is correct, click Save to complete the setup. If your e-mail settings are incorrect, you will be asked to edit those settings.
- In case you still aren't able to configure your e-mail account, or store your settings, contact your email provider.
