How to configure Qatar.net.qa for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Setting up Qatar.net.qa:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Configuration Required for Receiving Email

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services support both options. Refer to the information below for the correct settings.
   • IMAP protocol will keep the emails on the server, but it will show a copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended protocol in almost all cases.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will store them on your device.
2. Enter the passphrase for the e-mail account and click Next.
3. Please see the following information in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Settings Needed for Sending Email (via SMTP)

1. Once the settings are filled in, you can tap Next.
2. Enable Require sign-in
3. Please use the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.
