In this blog I will try to summarize setting up reallyfast.biz with IMAP and SMTP in a simple way!
History of reallyfast.biz
Fastmail is an email hosting company based in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to its Fastmail-branded services, the company also operates Topicbox, a mailing list service, and Pobox, an email service it acquired in 2015. The company was acquired by Opera Software in 2010 but became independent again in 2013 through a staff buyout. Its servers are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey and Seattle, Washington. Configuring reallyfast.biz
It is possible that the Mail app will find the email settings itself then complete setting up your account. Follow the following steps in order to try:
- Open Settings, then Mail and tap Accounts.
- Tap Add Account, click Other and click Add Mail Account.
- Type your name, your email address, your password then a description for your account
- Tap Next. Mail should try to find the e-mail settings and set up your account. If Mail finds your e-mail configuration, tap Done to finish your setup.
If the Mail app couldn't automatically set up your account, then you need to enter them yourself. We think you will need the information below:
Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) Configuration
Server Hostname | imap.fastmail.com |
Server Port | 993 |

Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Yes |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Choose IMAP or POP. If you aren't sure which one to select, contact reallyfast.biz
- Type the details (You might refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
- If the email settings are correct, tap Save to complete . If the e-mail settings are incorrect, you will be asked to modify them.
- If you still aren't able to configure your account or store the settings, contact reallyfast.biz.
