Setting up Sfr.fr for an Android Device
In this post we will simply teach you configuring Sfr.fr using IMAP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in an easy to follow fashion!

Configuring Sfr.fr:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Settings Required for Receiving Mail
- Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not provide both options! Refer to the table below for possible parameters.
- IMAP will store the emails on the server and it will display a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended protocol in most cases.
- POP3 downloads the e-mails from the server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
- Type in the password for your email address and click Next.
- Please use the following information to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
- Now tap Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |

Outgoing E-mail Server Configuration (using SMTP)
- Once the parameters are filled in, click Next.
- Turn on Require sign-in
- Please refer to the following table to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
- Click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
