Mail app may find the settings itself then complete setting up your account. Apply these steps first to try:
- Go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts.
- Click Add Account > Other and click Add Mail Account.
- Enter your name, email address, password then a description for your account.
- Tap Next. Mail should now try and find the mail parameters and complete your account setup. If Mail finds the e-mail parameter, click Done to finish your setup.
In case Mail hasn't been able to automatically set up your account, then you will need to enter them yourself. We think you may find the following table useful:

Outgoing Mail Server Setup (using SMTP)
Server Hostname | mail.t-com.vz |
Server Port | 25 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | No |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Select either IMAP or POP for your new account. If you don't know which one to select, contact T-com.vz
- Type the details (You will refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
- If the mail setup is correct, tap Save to complete the setup. If your mail settings are incorrect, the Mail app will ask you to modify those settings
- If you still can't setup your email account, or save your settings, contact the provider.
