Configuring Telenet.be for your Android Phone

How to setup Telenet.be:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Server Settings

1. Choose the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not support both protocols! Please check out the table below for possible parameters.
   • IMAP protocol keeps the e-mails on the server and it will display a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
   • POP3 will download the emails from the server and it will store them on your Android phone.
2. Type in the password for your mail account and tap Next.
3. Please refer to the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Setup

Outgoing Mail Setup (via SMTP)

1. Once the parameters are typed in, you can tap Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Please use the table below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.
