Configuring Virgilio for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

How to configure Virgilio:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Server Configuration

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not provide both protocols. You may want to check out the information below for available settings.
   • IMAP protocol will store the mails on the server, but it will display a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will store them on your device.
2. Type in the password for your e-mail account and click Next.
3. Please see the table below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

Outgoing E-mail Server Settings

1. Once the parameters are typed in, click Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Please see the table below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
