Configuring Smile 015 for an Android Phone

Setting up Smile 015

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Email Setup

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both. You may want to see the information below for possible parameters.
   • IMAP will store the mails on the server but it will show a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended protocol for almost all users.
   • POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
2. Enter the password for your mail address and tap Next.
3. Please see the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Incoming E-mail Server (POP) Setup

Settings Needed for Sending E-mail (via SMTP)

1. Once the settings are entered, click Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Use the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
