How to configure MSN for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Setting up MSN

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Server Configuration

1. Choose the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services support both protocols. Please see the information below for possible settings.
   • IMAP protocol stores the emails on the server and it will keep a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended setting in most cases.
   • POP3 will download the e-mails from the server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
2. Enter the password for the mail address and click Next.
3. Use the following information in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Settings

Outgoing Mail Server Settings (via SMTP)

1. Once the parameters are entered, you can tap Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Please use the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
