How to set up Myastound.net for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Setting up Myastound.net

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Configuration Needed for Receiving Email

1. Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both options! Refer to the information below for possible settings.
   • IMAP will keep the mails on the server and it will display a copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended protocol for almost all users.
   • POP3 will download the emails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
2. Type the passphrase for your e-mail account and tap Next.
3. Please use the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

Configuration Required for Sending E-mail

1. Once the settings are entered, you can tap Next.
2. Enable Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
