
Configuring Pacific.net.sg for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Setting up Pacific.net.sg:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Mail Server Configuration
- Choose the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services support both protocols. You may want to see the information below for possible settings.
- IMAP will keep the e-mails on the server, and it will show a cached copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended setting for most users.
- POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will store them on your Android phone.
- Type in the password for your e-mail address and click Next.
- Please refer to the following information in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
- Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Outgoing E-mail Server Settings (via SMTP)
- After you enter the parameters, you can tap Next.
- Check Require sign-in
- Please use the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.
