
Configuring T-com.vz for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)
With this article we will demonstrate configuring T-com.vz with POP and SMTP for an Android Tablet in a simple language.

How to configure T-com.vz:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Setup Required for Receiving E-mail
- Choose the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services provide both protocols. Please check out the information below for available settings.
- IMAP will store the emails on the server and it will show a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
- POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will store them on your device.
- Type in the passphrase for the email account and click Next.
- Please see the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
- Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Settings Required for Sending Mail (via SMTP)
- Once the parameters are entered, you can click Next.
- Select Require sign-in
- Please use the following table to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
